Muscle implants make patients
brawny without requiring exercise
You can now have a muscle-bound physique virtually over
night without the exercise regime at the local physical
fitness center. Los Angeles Plastic Surgeon Eduardo
Alvarez says that muscle implants are the latest thing
in plastic surgery.
Doctors make an incision in the armpit area (to make the scar less
obvious) to insert a saline-filled implant. Abdominal
surgery for chest muscles is achieved by a small
incision hidden below the patient's waist.
Alvarez claims the surgery, which costs upwards of $15,000, changes
patients from "nerds" to looking like the "Terminator",
giving the "Hulk" look.
