 | | Redneck Rolemodels flourishing on both east and west coasts
The Redneck Rolemodels, often compared to Tom Petty, Counting Crows and Black Crowes in the style of southern rock, are now in their fourth year after their latest CD, "State of Grace" and flourishing in their home area of the Greater Los Angeles area. Portions of the CD can be heard and bought at their official web site (click here).
The group consists of Dick Logan (singer), Steve Volponi (drummer), John Perez (guitarist) and Jeff Stella, who recently replaced Bob Gianetti as bass guitarist. The group now plays mostly in California and the New York areas since Stella is from New York. The group has served as the "warm-up" band for Styx, Eric Burden and the Animals, Eddie Money, .38 Special, Jefferson Starship, and The Fabulous Thunderbird at several concerts. The group's first CD bore their band's name and was finished in the band's early days. The group is taking both the east and west coasts by storm! ~The Redneck Bugle
